Terms of sale
Purchases made on the ALMA Edizioni s.r.l. website are governed by the Italian law on mail order sales. Concurrently with the shipping, ALMA Edizioni LTD will issue an invoice that will be inserted in the package. Shipping times vary from country to country depending on the carrier of your choice.
In compliance with the provisions of the Legislative Decree No. 21 of February 21, 2010 (enacted as implementation of the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU), the buyer is entitled to withdraw from the contract by giving written notice by email to ALMA Edizioni s.r.l. at the address email@example.com no later than 14 working days from receipt of the goods.
In order to validly exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer is required to return the books to ALMA Edizioni s.r.l. at his expense. The books must be shipped within 14 working days from the day on which the consumer communicates the withdrawal from the contract (date of postmark).
Returned books must arrive at ALMA Edizioni in pristine condition.
The parcel containing the returned goods must be properly packaged, contain a copy of the invoice and must be addressed to:

Any damage to the packaging and/or products or a mismatch in the number of items or information must be reported no later than 14 working days from the date of delivery by giving written notice by email to ALMA Edizioni s.r.l. at the address firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the event that the books shipped to the buyer were damaged, the shipping expenses will be charged to ALMA Edizioni.
All product prices are clearly indicated on the website and are inclusive of VAT. They do not include additional and different taxes, levies or duties arranged by the relevant applicable legislation, such as those governing import goods.
The customer is therefore required to clear customs and pay any applicable tax other than VAT concerning import.
The cost of each shipment, varying in accordance to the country of destination, is added to the total price of each order of books and is clearly defined and communicated to the customer, through the website, before the order is finalized.
Payments of orders placed through the site may only be made by credit card or bank transfer. Should a client elect to pay for a purchase by credit card, the bank will provide immediate verification of the validity of the credit card, but will charge the total amount of each order only upon confirmation by ALMA Edizioni s.r.l., that the order will be shipped within a maximum of 5 working days.
Credit card details are transmitted via secure connection directly to the bank website managing the transaction. ALMA Edizioni s.r.l. will never have access to such information.
Conditions of sale for eBooks
The eBooks for sale on www.almaedizioni.it can be purchased from any country in the world.
These conditions govern the sale and supply of digital products by ALMA Edizioni s.r.l. to the end user. The placement of the order by the user implies the acceptance by the latter of these conditions of sale. ALMA Edizioni is entitled to change these conditions in the future: the user will be informed by a notice published on our website.
2. The contract between the user and ALMA Edizioni
There is no commitment between the user and ALMA Edizioni until ALMA Edizioni has sent an email to the user confirming the receipt of the order and its acceptance.
3. Prices, availability and payment
Prices of ALMA Edizioni products are clearly indicated on the website and are inclusive of VAT. For products in eBook format no shipping costs will be applied. The available payment methods are: Credit Card (VISA and/or Mastercard) and Paypal.
4. Delivery of products
Once the purchase process has been completed by the reception of the email sent by ALMA Edizioni in accordance with Art. 2, the user will be able to obtain the eBook by activating the code included in the email sent by ALMA Edizioni and following the instructions contained therein.
For the optimal use of the eBooks on a mobile device (tablet), the user will be required to install the app indicated by ALMA Edizioni. It remains the sole responsibility of the user to verify its compatibility with the device owned and with the format of the eBook that they intend to purchase.
Once the license has been activated, the user will be entitled to the use of the eBook for 14 months from the activation date on the Blinklearning digital platform, hosting the eBooks by ALMA Edizioni.
5. Guarantees and returns
It is not possible to return products in eBook format.
6. Right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal is not provided, in compliance with the provisions of the Legislative Decree No. 206/2005, Art. 64, except for cases in which the eBook code has not been redeemed, and in any event within 10 days from receipt of said code.
The user is expected to make an exclusively private use of the contents of the eBooks purchased, and in particular is expected not to market them, edit them, play them or process them. Under no circumstances, as per the contract governed by these general conditions, the user acquires rights relating to the exploitation of the products in eBook format. If the user releases false statements during the registration process or the completion of the purchase order, or in the event of non-compliance with the provisions of this Article, ALMA Edizioni reserves the right to block the code for the use of the purchased eBooks, thus precluding the user from their use.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
The contracts between the user and ALMA Edizioni are governed by the Italian law on distance selling (Legislative Decree No. 206/2005) and all disputes arising out of the present agreement will be referred to the Arbitration Board of Florence and settled according to the Rules of Conciliation adopted by it.
